On the morning of the patron saint's day, Irene rides her bicycle to the bakery, but falls over on the way. She is alone, late, no one comes to her rescue and she decides to go and ask Bianca, her closest friend, for help. ALong the way, however, she feels increasingly lonely and abandoned and a state of frustration and resentment towards her friend grows. Thus in the urban and violent context of her memories, Irene retraces the unresolved moments of their friendship.
